Don't ever bring a hair dog to a 3rd world country.

Well, today was spent with me trying to be a dog groomer for my little dog Sipsey. She is a Shih Tzu that I've had for 4 years. I brought her to Kenya with me. There are no dog groomers here. I had to learn to be one. She had not had a hair cut since Nov. before I left to come to the US.  I know some of you would ask why would I bring her here with me. Well, she is mine. I love her and she is a lot of company to me when I'm here by myself and no TV or no one to talk to after you are locked into your home at 6:00PM.  Also, I use her in the ministry. Kids love her. She is a praying dog. She sits up and puts her paws together when I tell her to pray if she wants a treat. I tell everyone that if a dog can pray then how much more should we pray and thank Jesus for what He has done for us.  They have never seen anything like her before. I'm sure I have the only praying dog in all of Africa. Oh, yeah, she talks too. She says, "I love Jesus". I also have a Chihuahua. She was a gift from Sandy Humphrey in Brandenburg, KY, a year ago when I was there and I brought her with me too. Her name is Bambi. I'm still trying to get this one saved. Ha!
A local pastor I work with here, Pastor Sammy Nawali came by today to tell me he is starting to build a girls home. I'm sure I will be sending rescued girls his way as soon as it finished. We had a very nice visit. Bonita is still here with me. I will be leaving on Friday to spend the night in Nairobi and hook up with Steve James and his team to go to Migori. www.kenyarelief.org. I'm not sure how long I will be there. I spoke with Steve a while ago and they are in Samburu on Safari. I was just there last week rescueing to girls from FGM and early forced marriage. I saw 2 cheetahs and several elephants. I heard hyeanas around my tent. I prayed. I gotta go for now, my battery is low.
Forever His servant & yours,
Teresa June
